Nashville, also known as Music City, is the home of country music, but this vibrant city has entertainment and sightseeing activities for everybody. Some of our favorite activities and sights include the following:

Nashville Entertainment District

The District is the pulse of downtown Nashville. Beginning on First Avenue, which sits along the Cumberland River, the District is made up of Lower Broadway, Printer’s Alley, and Second Avenue. The restaurants, clubs, honky-tonks, and the music that vibrates through the District have a way of attracting people of all ages and musical preferences. From the Wild Horse Saloon to the Old Ryman Auditorium, the District is a step back in time.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

In the heart of downtown Nashville’s vibrant entertainment district, the 130,000-square-foot museum offers breathtaking views of the city. Inside, the museum presents the crown jewels of its vast collection to illustrate country music's story. It is a true treasure trove that includes historic country video clips and recorded music, dynamic exhibits and state-of-the-art design, live performances and public programs, a museum store, on-site dining, and fabulous public spaces. Ryman Auditorium

Open for tours daily from 9 a.m.–4 p.m., the Ryman Auditorium is a National Historic Landmark and a must-see for anyone visiting Nashville. Most famous as the home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943–1974, Ryman is the cultural epicenter of Nashville. For information about tours, visit: Ryman

Jack Daniel Distillery
