Small Businesses Are Larger Than You Think: Sage Salutes Small Businesses, the Backbone of the U.S. Economy
ATLANTA (June 17, 2013) – Did you know that it is small – not large – businesses that lead the pack in terms of job creation in the U.S.? And, for every dollar spent with a local business, 68 percent stays in the community?
As events are taking place across the country as part of National Small Business Week, Sage North America is celebrating, recognizing and thanking the small business community for all that they do to make this country great. In terms of economic impact at the national and local levels, small businesses are unparalleled; they are the drivers of innovation and growth.
Two new Sage infographics illustrate these and other insights regarding small businesses and the tremendous impact they have not only on their local communities, but also the U.S. economy overall. Small businesses create 64 percent of net new jobs and more than 50 percent of the nonfarm private gross domestic product.
Sage Listens Relay RV Tour
This summer, Sage will be taking to the road in an RV on a 15-city cross-country tour, visiting with a number of our customers to show our support and appreciation in person. As the U.S. runs on small business, Sage executives will be speaking to small businesses during the Sage Listens Relay RV tour to gain a better understanding of and insight into what makes them tick and what they need to grow their business in order to be successful.
