Sage Thought Leaders Host Customer Experience Workshop at ITA Spring Collaborative Event
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (April 29, 2013) – Sage North America announced today Brad Smith, executive vice president of customer experience for Sage North America, and Doug LaBahn, senior vice president of product management and marketing for Sage North America, hosted a workshop around the customer experience at the Information Technology Alliance (ITA) Spring Collaborative event. The workshop was held Sunday, April 28, 2013, and the event continues through Tuesday, April 30, in St. Petersburg, Fla.
The workshop entitled “How to Map the Customer Experience” was presented by Smith, where he led an interactive and engaging session, helping businesses understand why customer experience should be at the center of their strategy in order for success and how to implement a strategy in their businesses. LaBahn then followed up with a session on how the customer experience fundamentals shared by Smith can be applied within a business. This workshop was available for all ITA attendees.
Smith brings to Sage over 18 years of leadership in the web consumer, enterprise software, and communication service-provider industries. Prior to joining Sage, Brad was vice president of customer experience with Yahoo!, where he developed a voice of the customer program designed to drive a "customer first" culture. He also oversaw the global support experience at Symantec. He is a member of the Forrester Customer Experience Executive Leadership Council and the Support Services Advisory Board of the Technology Services Industry Association and is on the board of directors of the Consortium for Service Innovation as one of 18 recognized Consortium innovators.
LaBahn, Ph.D., has over 20 years of experience with helping companies improve the customer experience of existing and new products. By taking a "customer first" approach to product management and new product development, he has helped generate double-digit revenue growth for product portfolios at leading companies including: Experian, Dun & Bradstreet, Corporate Executive Board, WebVisible, LRN, DubLabs and several other client companies.
