As upcoming college graduates prepare for the future, what’s top of mind? Finding a job, of course! Accounting students will likely send resumés to local firms in their area, hoping for an interview. This is not an easy process for any college student, and Sage is fortunate enough to be involved in an event that could make accounting students’ lives a lot easier as they kick off their job searches.
Today marks the start of National Meet the Firms Week, hosted by CollegeFrog. National Meet the Firms Week, running through November 2, allows accounting firms nationwide to meet thousands of job-seeking accounting students through online profiles created by participants.
Sage Vice President for Partner Programs & Channel Sales Jennifer Warawa discusses why Meet the Firms is important to the future of the accounting profession in this video.
As a co-sponsor, Sage is providing testing for Sage 50 Accounting 2013—U.S. Edition product certification to participating students and a discounted membership rate to the Sage Accountants Network of $199 for the first year to participating firms.
