Website Pipeline Partners With Sage to Offer Its E-Commerce Customers a Secure, PCI-Compliant, Integrated Payments and ERP System
“Sage goes the extra mile to help us win and retain shared customers,” says Website Pipeline CEO
MCLEAN, Va. (September 28, 2012) – Sage North America today announced Greenville, S.C.-based Website Pipeline is experiencing success as a member of the Sage Payment Solutions ISV Partner Program (formerly called Development Partner Program) for independent software vendors (ISVs). Website Pipeline designs, builds, hosts and supports e-commerce websites that feature real-time, bidirectional integrations with popular enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, including Sage 100 ERP, Sage 300 ERP, Sage 500 ERP and Sage ERP X3.
Through the Sage ISV Partner Program, Website Pipeline now also integrates to Sage Exchange, a secure, Payment Card Industry (PCI)-compliant, integrated payments platform from Sage. These integrations allow Website Pipeline customers to securely process credit and debit card transactions that seamlessly integrate payments data to their Sage ERP systems – including Sage 50 Accounting products.
“Sage Payment Solutions is our payment processing vendor of choice, because of the process improvements our customers gain when using our solution along with Sage Payment Solutions and either a Sage ERP or Sage accounting system,” said Brian Seidel, CEO of Website Pipeline. “Not only has Sage built a world-class integrated payments platform with great service offerings, but it has also backed them with great people. Sage goes the extra mile to help us win and retain shared customers.”
When a consumer makes a purchase at a Website Pipeline-powered e-commerce web site, he enters credit card data, and the transaction is authorized directly from Website Pipeline through a real-time connection to Sage Exchange. Website Pipeline then passes transaction data to the customer’s Sage ERP system, and Sage Exchange integrates the payment details, offering the customer a fully integrated experience inside his Sage ERP system. Sage ERP customers using Sage Payment Solutions can also integrate payments acquired through their traditional point-of-sale (POS) terminals, the Sage Virtual Terminal and Sage Mobile Payments, making for a complete integrated payments environment.
A customer success
Meridian, Idaho-based AIRE, Inc. is one of many clients shared by Sage Payment Solutions and Website Pipeline. In business for 24 years, AIRE is a leading manufacturer of whitewater and fishing inflatable boats in North America. The company recently expanded into the spill containment industry with AIRE Industrial Products. The new AIRE division came with a new set of business challenges, mainly selling direct to the public.
“We needed a powerful e-commerce website, a reliable credit card processing system, and a way to integrate web orders into our sales and accounting software,” said Sheena Cole, advertising and marketing manager for AIRE. “The combination of Website Pipeline and Sage Payment Solutions was the perfect solution. With Sage Payment Solutions, web orders paid for with a credit card flow smoothly and safely into our sales system without saving card information on our server. And our Sage Payment Solutions account executive worked directly with our accounts receivable and IT departments to help us obtain our Trustwave certification for PCI compliance. Our e-commerce system practically runs itself thanks to Website Pipeline and Sage.”
More about the Sage ISV Partner Program
ISVs integrating their products using the Sage Exchange toolkit can offer their customers the value of an integrated payments experience, while removing the ongoing challenge of keeping their applications in sync with the evolving regulations of PCI (PA-DSS). Additionally, Sage Exchange offers a suite of connected services and applications, including integration with Sage accounting and ERP products, which can help ISVs expand their distribution and value proposition.
Sage ISV partners receive a software development kit (SDK), including documentation and a complete testing environment. Additionally, the Sage Payment Solutions professional services team helps determine the best integration method to meet each ISV’s needs and get it up and running. After the integration is complete, all certified Sage Payment Solutions ISV partners’ product(s) are listed on the Sage Partner Solution Source, an online search engine designed specifically for third-party solution providers and reaching thousands of customers, prospects and business partners on an annual basis.
