Irvine, Ca. (September 4, 2012) – Sage North America today announced the release of Sage DacEasy 2013, the latest version of the accounting and business management solution for small businesses. Sage DacEasy streamlines accounting processes to be more efficient and flexible, saving time, optimizing business operations, and decreasing the chance of errors. The latest version focuses on improvements to increase usability to do more: better, faster, and easier. Key enhancements include bundling items as kits, quicker past history information lookup for vendor and customers, customizable sort order for printing picking tickets, more efficient customer reference number lookup, improved shipping accuracy, and the ability to filter to see only outstanding invoices.
Bundled goods: Several items can be assigned to a predefined, specifically priced kit. When the kit is sold, all of the items in the bundle are properly deducted from inventory. This saves time entering quotes, orders and invoices and ultimately leads to completing sales faster and turning inventory at a more rapid rate.
Past history lookup: New shortcut features allow users to see past history for vendors to choose the correct product to purchase and easily view past customer history to ensure the appropriate entry is selected for quotes.
Sorting picking tickets: The Sort Picking Ticket By feature offers four options to sort picking tickets—as entered on the order, by item number, by bin or by department. Warehouses can put orders together easier and get them out the door sooner, which translates into faster payment and better cash flow.
Customer reference number lookup: Find customer reference numbers quickly with expanded reference fields that support up to 20 characters. In addition to larger field capacity, vendor reference and order reference fields have been added to store important information.
Ship-to lookup: Looking up orders can be difficult if the customer code is not the same as the ship-to address. With the ship-to search option, shipping accuracy can be improved and orders can be found more efficiently.
Paid invoice filter: Find unpaid invoices faster with a filter that allows fully paid invoices to be excluded, so only those invoices that are outstanding and may require follow-up are visible.
