Sage Announces New Customer Management Solution to Empower the Construction Industry
Integration between Sage 100 Contractor and Sage ACT! provides companies with a more complete view of their business
7/2/2012 9:00:00 AM

Beaverton, OR (July 2, 2012) — Sage North America today announced the release of a new integration between Sage 100 Contractor and Sage ACT! contact and customer management system. This powerful combination provides construction companies with a more complete view of their business, including new business development and client acquisition, projects and jobs, and management of the resulting financial activity. This helps them have a better understanding of client history and performance.

Sage ACT! is the number-one contact and customer management choice of small businesses and sales teams, with 2.8 million users. Information is easy to find and even easier to update – everything from phone numbers, emails, meeting notes, and documents is available in one organized place. Sage ACT! also seamlessly connects to Microsoft® Outlook®, subscription-based sales and marketing services, desktop and web-based productivity tools, and social media. Sage 100 Contractor, formerly Sage Master Builder, is a complete construction business management system combining accounting, project management, estimating and service management into one solution. Integration between these two award-winning Sage systems helps users better manage the transfer of information from salespeople to accounting and project management staff, from sales process to bid process to operations and job costing, and from Sage ACT! into Sage 100 Contractor.

Construction firms can use Sage ACT! to keep track of opportunities in the sales cycle and can create vendors, jobs and customers in Sage 100 Contractor without having to re-enter the information. Users will have a more complete client, opportunity and job history as their company grows.

“Sage provides a broad portfolio of business solutions, and we are constantly enhancing our offerings to provide each customer with the right solution for their business needs. This solution was designed specifically for the construction industry,” said Jon Witty, vice president and general manager of Sage Construction and Real Estate. “Sage 100 Contractor integration with Sage ACT! is a solution that helps construction companies better manage their business and contact details so they can focus on building long-lasting, profitable relationships.”

The Sage ACT! plug-in for Sage 100 Contractor is now available for customers to download. For more information contact Sage at 800-628-6583 or productinfo.cre@sage.com.
