Sage is pleased to announce the results of a small business survey regarding business-related proposals outlined in President Obama’s recent State of the Union Address.

The survey was conducted amongst businesses with fewer than 100 employees. After having a month to contemplate the proposals, small business owners chose lowering taxes on small businesses, easing regulations that are impeding access to capital for small businesses and tax breaks for creating jobs in America as the three most effective ideas outlined in the state of the union address that will help their businesses grow. 

Additionally, the survey found that business owners believe the top four issues that will impede the growth of small businesses in 2012 will be the cost of doing business, high taxes, too many regulations and lack of demand for their products and services.
