Sage Executives to Present on Career Development and Donor Loyalty at CharityChannel Summit 2011
LAS VEGAS, NV (Oct. 5, 2011)—Sage North America today announced that two of its Nonprofit Solutions executives, Bridget Brandt and Heather Burton, will present education sessions on career development and donor loyalty at this week’s CharityChannel Summit 2011. Sage currently helps more than 32,000 unique not-for-profit organizations increase efficiency and more easily manage their operations through the use of technology.
Being held through November 8 at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel, CharityChannel Summit 2011 will attract more than 700 nonprofit leaders and administrators, colleagues who work in all aspects of fund development, consultants, and attorneys from across the country and internationally. Conference participants will attend workshops on a wide variety of topics, presented by some of the most experienced and knowledgeable experts in their respective fields.
Both Brandt and Burton will present sessions on Friday, October 7. Brandt, director of marketing, will present “Creating Donor Loyalty in an Online Age,” while Burton, director of product marketing, will present “The Art of Career Growth.”
Brandt has developed and promoted award-winning educational and marketing programs for nearly 15 years. She is current president of the Austin, Texas-based Support Behind the Badge organization. Brandt is also a member of the Austin Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA), and has presented at the Bridge to Integrated Marketing and Fundraising Conference, CharityChannel Summit, the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ (AFP) International Conference on Fundraising, and numerous other industry events.
Burton has been involved in the nonprofit sector for more than a decade. She contributed a chapter on board development to the CharityChannel Press book, YOU and Your Nonprofit, published in 2011. She is past board president for the BookSpring organization in Austin, Texas, and a member of the greater Austin (Texas) Chapter of AFP. Burton frequently presents at industry conferences, such as CharityChannel Summit, the CASE District IV Conference, and regional Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP) and Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) conferences. She is a regular contributor to such nonprofit magazines as Advancing Philanthropy, Canadian Fundraising & Philanthropy, FundRaising Success, and The NonProfit Times.
Since 2010, CharityChannel Summit has included a unique collaboration with the annual conference of the Grant Professionals Association (GPA), allowing participants of both conferences to participate in workshops and presentations from either conference. GPA’s annual conference has gained a well-earned reputation as the most comprehensive educational and professional growth event available for those committed to excellence in the practice of grantsmanship.
