New Sage SalesLogix Mobile enables rich CRM functionality on popular devices including iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry; browser-based design allows rapid Mobile CRM deployment
SCOTTSDALE, AZ (Mar. 10, 2011)—Sage North America today announced that Sage SalesLogix v.7.5.3 customers can now rapidly extend CRM functionality to a wide range of devices including iPhone®, iPad®, Android™ and BlackBerry® Torch™ as well as HTML5/CSS3-compliant browsers such as Safari®, Google Chrome™, Opera® and Firefox® at no additional charge. The new customizable, browser-based Sage SalesLogix Mobile works with Sage SalesLogix on-premises and Sage SalesLogix Cloud systems and interacts with each device’s navigation, mapping, dialing and email functions to simplify the user experience. The new Sage SalesLogix Mobile operates online and offline, is centrally managed and customized, and updates automatically over the air.

The new Sage SalesLogix Mobile is the latest mobile development by Sage for its small and midsized business customers. Last month, the company announced Sage Mobile Payments, a Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliant product enabling Sage Payment Solutions merchant account customers to accept credit and debit card payments on more than 400 types of mobile phones and computing devices with no incremental mobile processing or transaction fees.
Sage is leveraging innovative technology standards to develop new products and enhance existing ones including HTML5 and its own SData™ protocol which provides common integration between Sage applications and extensions for integrating with non-Sage applications.

The new Sage SalesLogix Mobile features a task-oriented user interface that puts detailed customer information at a user’s fingertips so they can quickly:
- Create, view and edit customer information including accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities and tickets;
- Access a Quick Actions menu, view and schedule activities, and record important notes;
- Manage meeting schedules, personal activities, phone calls and to-dos;
- Log email and phone interactions to customer history;
- Configure features to match user preferences and receive automatic updates over the air.
