Yes, both the instant and download trials have sample companies set up for viewing. When using the trial download, we recommend viewing the sample companies provided before importing your company data.

You cannot import data, but you can enter it manually by using the New Company Setup wizard. If you are using the instant trial, you will not be able to save your data once you exit.

Important Note: When purchasing the full product, your trial data will only convert to the version you select when creating your own company or a higher version. (See the chart below for guidance.)

With the instant trial, you can only test drive Sage 50 Quantum Accounting. This allows you to see all of the functionality included in the Sage 50 Accounting line, including industry solution functionality for Construction, Distribution, and Manufacturing.

The TestDrive is not recommended when using a dial-up connection and is best viewed in Google Chrome or Internet Explorer using a desktop or laptop computer. Not compatible with mobile devices or tablets.

The Trial Download is not recommended when:

• Using a dial-up connection.
• Using a Mac.
• You already have Sage Peachtree or Sage 50 installed. Installing over existing Sage Peachtree or Sage 50 Accounting software upgrades your data to the latest release. When the trial expires you will be locked out of your data and cannot recover or reinstall the older software versions.
• Using Windows Vista® Home/Business or Windows® XP without Svc Pack 3 installed on your PC.
