Sage Business Care 2013 Upgrade

As part of your Sage Business Care plan, you get an upgrade to Sage 50 Accounting 2013. We encourage you to read about What's New in 2013 to learn about the features and additions that you can take advantage of!

Your upgrade to Sage 50 Accounting 2013:

When will I receive my upgrade notification?

You will receive download and registration information for Sage 50 Accounting 2013 mid-October. Please look for emails from Sage indicating "Sage Product Activation" and "Sage Download Notification".

What is included in the "Sage Download Notification" email?

Your Account ID, Serial Number, Key Code (Activation Key), Payroll ID and Sage 50 Accounting 2013 Download Link is included in this email. It is important to retain this email in order to successfully upgrade your software. Learn more about the Sage Download Notification.

What will be included in the "Sage 50 Product Activation" email?

If you have purchased Sage 50 Business Intelligence in the past, and your subscription has not expired, you will receive the 2013 activation information in this email.

Will I receive a CD?

If you have paid for our CD delivery mail service, you will receive an email indicating "Shipment Notification" mid-October notifying you that your CD has shipped. Please allow 5-10 business days for CD delivery. If you did not pay for this service, your product will only be made available to you via download.

How do I upgrade?

To upgrade your software to Sage 50 Accounting 2013:

1. Click on the link provided in the "Sage Download Notification" email.
2. Download the file and follow the instructions to install and activate your product.

There are 2 ways to get your 2013 Serial Number and Key Code (Activation Key):

1. At the time of installation, when prompted, choose to automatically retrieve your account information. You must be connected to the Internet to do this and have previously installed a 2010 version or higher.
2. Check your email. You will have your Account ID, Serial Number, Key Code (Activation Key) and, if required, Payroll ID.

Important Note: Do not uninstall your previous version of Sage Simply Accounting.
