Plans Are Final
All purchases of Business Care Plans are nontransferable and nonrefundable. Sage is not responsible for underutilized plan benefits.
Lapsed Policies
If your Business Care Plan has lapsed and you wish to renew, you must pay for the year(s) that you were not on a Business Care Plan and a reinstatement fee. Effectively, you will be paying for enhancements and improvements made to the Software during the period you were not on a Business Care Plan.
Current Business Care Plan is Required to Purchase New Modules and Additional Users
Current Business Care Plan subscribers are provided with product updates and critical technical information as they become available. Maintaining a current plan also permits you to purchase new software modules and additional users. Without a current plan, you will not have access to this information, nor these products. In addition, a current Business Care Plan is required in order to purchase a Payroll Update Plan.
Customer Support
If you are entitled to receive customer support as part of a Business Care Plan, Sage warrants that while your Business Care Plan is in effect and if you have paid all required Business Care Plan fees, Sage will use qualified personnel to provide you customer support in a professional manner consistent with industry standards.
Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL SAGE’S LIABILITY TO YOU ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR BUSINESS CARE PLAN, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, EXCEED THE FEES ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO PURCHASE OR RENEW THE BUSINESS CARE PLAN IN EFFECT.
