Sage 50 Accounting 2013 – U.S. Edition Product Registration

If you purchased Sage 50 Accounting 2013 – U.S. Edition from Sage

  • You are already registered!
  • Install your product
  • Serial Number and Activation Key information is automatically handled within the product
  • You can activate your product while in the product by selecting "Sage 50 Activation" from the Help menu

If you purchased Sage 50 Accounting 2013 – U.S. Edition from a Retail Store

After installing and launching your Sage 50 Accounting 2013 – US Edition, you are allowed up to 10 uses before you are required to activate the product. Once you are ready to register your product, click the Activate Online Now button once you are prompted while using the product or by selecting "Sage 50 Activation" from the Help menu. You will be prompted to enter detailed company information to set up your account for the first time.

Additional Online Resources at the Sage Customer Portal

The Sage Customer Portal will be your new online resource to access the Sage Knowledgebase, get software updates, use Live Chat Assistance for Service and Support issues, submit an online support case and more.

Log on to the Sage Customer Portal by clicking here. First-time users will need to register from the portal homepage using your existing 10-digit Sage Customer ID.

If you purchased from a Retail Store and have internet connection issues

If the computer you installed Sage 50 Accounting 2013 – U.S. Edition to is not connected to the Internet and you have encountered the Product Activation message prompt "You must activate the product now to continue", click the link in the message "I can't connect to the Internet" and follow the steps below:

  • Log on to the Sage Customer Portal by clicking here. First-time users will need to register from the portal homepage. (Internet Explorer 7 or higher is required)
  • A login screen will open in a new browser window. Click the link on the right hand side of the screen that says "Sign-up for a Portal Account". Select the "I am a new Sage Customer" option if you do not already have a Sage Customer Account ID and follow the instructions on screen. (You will receive an email that contains your 10-digit Sage Customer ID)
  • Once you are logged on to the Sage Customer Portal, click the Product Registration tab.
  • Enter the following information:
    1. Product Family - Select Sage 50 – U.S. Edition
    2. Company Name - Verify Company Name
    3. Serial Number - Enter the Serial Number of your software: Located on the back of the DVD case if purchased from Retail.
  • After you register your product, you will receive the activation code you need to enable your software

If you purchased Sage Peachtree 2012 and older directly from Sage

  • You are already registered!
  • Install your product
  • Serial Number and Activation Key information is located in the Sage Download Notification Email you received after your order was processed
  • Additional Online Resources at the Sage Customer Portal
  • The Sage Customer Portal will be your new online resource to access the Sage Knowledgebase, get software updates, use Live Chat Assistance for Service and Support issues, submit an online support case and more.
  • Log on to the Sage Customer Portal by clicking here. First-time users will need to register from the portal homepage using your 10-digit Sage Customer ID.

If you purchased Sage Peachtree 2012 and older from a Retail Store

  • Log on to the Sage Customer Portal by clicking here. First-time users will need to register from the portal homepage. (Internet Explorer 7 or higher is required)

    3. Serial Number - Enter the Serial Number of your software: Located on the back of the DVD case if purchased from Retail.
  • After you register your product, you will receive the registration information you need to enable your software.
